The confirmation come via Valve’s Doug Lombardi, who mentioned in an interview that downloadable content for Portal 2 was planned for release this summer.

‘We will be announcing some DLC for it, so folks can keep a look out for more content coming this summer,’ Lombardi told FastCompany ‘We’ll be putting more details out about that in a week or so.’

‘We’ll support that with more videos or more comics,’ Lombardi said.

Valve has already released one Portal 2 comic for free, Lab Rat, as well as some day one downloadable content – hats and accessories for use in the co-operative campaign. The in-game store hasn’t gone down well with gamers so far, however.
